Lulu Case 00611514
I orded ten copies of my book for my Private View. The copies arrived on 08.26 with the black spine misprinted - it is overlapping the fron cover.
I used the wizard to create the spine - so it cannot be my problem of setting wrong dimensions. Moreover, the proof, which I ordered a few weeks ago had the spine printed straight.
Anyway, I filled in the form, sent a photo of the spine on the same day, i.e August 26 and ... I have not heard anything since then.
My private view is long gone now and the books are not needed at all. I could not present the misprinted faulty books and without them, I have lost an important posibility to present myself professionally.
I have tried to contact Lulu in every possible way, including the chats which are never available. Can somebody advise me what to do! They have taken the money and left me with a faulty product, which I do not need.
Any ideas? How do you deal with Lulu?

I understand that this is just a printing error and that is all there is to it.
Unfortunately, this printing error was not dealt with on time. I have since received an e-mail saying they never received my photos of the misprint. I checked my SENT folder - the photos did go out on August 26. I had no "undelivered" mail message. So I am assuming that it did reach the destination and then disappeared.

It is OK, it has been resolved. My image was 1.4MB. It must have gone lost. It does not matter now. They have offered a refund and I am happy with that. However, not sure what to do with the books now :-)
