Lulu support and damaged books (UK)

I ordered 5 books from Lulu and two were water damaged in transit.

I filed a support note a few days ago along with pictures and have heard nothing apart from an automated acknowledgement.

Can anyone advise how long they take to reply and sort these types pf problems out?

You just have to be patient.

It does normally take a few days but is usually resolved to everyones satisfaction.

I am capable of being patient. But days without an acknowledgement is terrible service in my book. Companies like Amazon set the bar really high and I am not really used to such slack service.
