Two people have written to me asking me what kudos are and how one gives them.
For those who are wondering what they are and how they work, I thought I might post a simple note here in forums:
Kudos are a way of saying, " I like this post" or "I agree with this post" or "Thanks for taking the time to explain that" or "thanks for the link" or "that's funny" or "that's useful" or pretty much anything that makes you glad you read that post.
Kudos can be given by clicking on the star underneath someone's name to the left of their post.
So, kudos to you, everyone who takes the time to add information and goodwill to these forums!

In a discussion the Kudos is awarded to an individual message. They are not shown in further messages posted by that member in the same discussion.
