How does payment work when someone orders your book from Amazon?

Let's say that someone finds my book on Amazon.com and orders it. Would I still get paid and notified the same way if someone were to order my book off of Lulu?

Thanks! =)

Amazon report sales to Lulu once a month. You should be notified of the sales after that and then receive your revenue a few weeks later. Read this http://connect.lulu.com/t5/Creator-Revenues-FAQ/How-to-Check-your-Creator-Revenues/ta-p/150329

Re: How does payment work when someone orders your book from Amazon?

I'm wondering if I still have to have a PayPal account in order to receive my royalties? I just tried to check in to PayPal and the page wouldn't appear. I'm real puzzled right now about just how the royalty payments are sent.  Could a person just forget PayPal and have it sent another way?  I was enormously shocked to go to my revenue page and see how many books have sold that I knew nothing about! Forty-two to be exact and to the revenue tune of over $151.00 so I am a bit confused as the next person as to how it works. Thanks.

Go to your My Lulu, My Revenue, Change Remittance Settings.

Hi,

Ken is correct, you can click My Lulu and scroll down until you see the My Account heading on the left; click "Change remittance settings". You can enter a valid PayPal email address on this page, or select the option to receive your revenue via paper checks instead. For information on when creator revenues are paid (depending on which method you select), you may want to review the following article:

I hope this helps!
