Hello:
I just uploaded a complete copy of a book. I would like to order just ONE paperback copy, so that I can basically look it over and make sure it is acceptable.
The price is $73, plus change. Could that be correct? It is 343 pages with a color cover and back.
Moreover, I would like to sell it at a reasonable price ($15-20). Moreover, it says $115 plus change as another price...
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Thank you, Ken.
The book is actually my mother's. However, I am a little confused. Another book was published by her with Lulu in 2010; it is 576 pages and has a color front and back cover. It is priced at $26.04 for a paperback...

Did you select 'colour' when you chose the paper and binding methods?
If you did then you are paying for every single page to be printed in colour and that adds a lot to the cost.
A black and white book -- i.e. the text inside is B&W - will still have a colour cover, front, back and spine.
I suggest you revise your project and check selections for the book.
If you don't want to pay for colour inside tick B&W, you will still have a colour cover.
If you tick colour you pay colour rates even if the text is B&W. Your book is printed on a colour printer. Its expensive.

Yes the color ink inside makes the book cost even higher. If you don't have graphics or have minimal graphics inside the book, it would be best to just use black ink for the interior. Either way, you'll still have full color covers ![]()
