HELP - With new forum software (only) [ Edited ]

Like everyone who uses a new piece of software, visits a new web page or similar I dived in and started using this new platform.

Now I'´m forever telling folks to RTFM  (read the flipping manual) but am as guilty as anyone in not doing so.

I was very pleasantly  surprised to find a little button labelled Help at the top right corner of this page that opened a what at first sight seems a very well written set of help instructions to use Connect.

If Lulu have got anything right with this new platform then they certainly have with this.

I thoroughly recommend everyone to spend 5 minutes there before contributing to any discussions.

Also in the top corner one might see a small envelope type symbol - this is the input box for ones private messages.

Yes, at least that Help icon does seem to have oodles of information, Ken. And an excellent suggestion about RTFM! (I think we can all be a little guilty about not doing that at times! )

Hi Belinda,

you seem a reliable authority so I am consulting you...

My book is already published on Lulu and I bought a copy already, but I would like to upgrade to the "Extended Reach" distribution.

When going to "Distribution" > "Manage" I can't seem to find the option to do that, only the "Market Reach" option.

Also, I am trying to get the "FREE" ISBN from Lulu but don't see a link for IT either.

Can you help me?

     Would you help me figure out why am I unable to change my email address?  I've traveled the verification trail a couple of times now, but it still shows my old email address rather than my preferred one.

Just to confirm, you have gone to "My Settings" and then Email and then entered your new email, it's sent you the verification email and you've verified, but it is still showing as your old email?

Gosh Ken, Bold and RED!! I do hope I'm in the right place!!!

I did not realise there was 'new software', I just thought some 'new broom' had swept clean.

There seems to be a new language. What is the difference between 'my Spotlight page and 'my storefront? And,  where is 'my storefont ' page.

What is KUDOES?  I always thought cudos was good things said about one.

What comprises 'private messages? I don't know who to write to as I have no messages.

Does, 'ask ....? to be friends, mean can I speak to them; and not please be my bosom-buddy?

Is there a friendly dictionary and thesaurus on Lulu?

What happened to the Aussie group i just joined? It must have been buried in the clean up!

Are the members still around, and if not, how can we 'connect 'to our Lulu Aussie writers, readers and creators?

Apart from these I find things OK on the Lulu self-publishing site.

If you can answer any of my questions, I will be grateful,
