Font compatibility issues

I am working with a Mac in Palantino font. When I up load my word document and let the Lulu server convert the DOC to PDF the spacing in my text changes because the fonts do not match. This distorts my documents design.

What fonts should I be using on my Mac to prevent this problem?

Re: Font compatibility issues

When you create the pdf version of your file before uploading it to LULU, be certain that you have selected the option to EMBED ALL FONTS in the resulting pdf file.

I don't use a Mac and I don't know what software you are using because you didn't say, but you may be able to find OPTIONS for the creation of your PDF file. Just be sure fonts are EMBEDDED.

Good luck!

Re: Font compatibility issues

these are what lulu ask for if lulu convert to a PDF >>

Usually even if you create your own PDF those fonts should work even if not embedded.

there is this too though just in case >>>

but I have no idea about a Mac ...
