Expenses after purchase

I've interested in making my first purchase here in the next couple of months and I'm wondering about the totals expenses for when it arrives such is it shipping a flat rate or based on weight and where my order will be sent from.  I live in Ontario, Canada and the 3-4 books are paperback and made by an author in the UK.

That link does not show costs that I can see. The fastest way to find out is to make a 'dummy' order. Then abort it, or do not complete the order untill you are ready.

This has helped a lot and have an idea on when I'll make my purchase first purchase.  I'm curious though about if about where the books will be printed and shipped from though.  I'm from Ontario, Canada and the books are by an author from the UK.  If you can help with this as well it would be greatly appreciated.

It's not always easy to work out where an order is fulfilled from because it can depend on the type of book, too. Usually they are printed by some company Lulu use that is as close to the order address as possible. Lulu do not use many companies though! But where the writer lives makes no difference because Lulu is USA based and on the WWW :-)

I'm also wondering about a listing the to the places where they are printed and as to weither there is one in Canada or not.  I'm trying to avoid also paying duty.  I appreciate your help so far and hope you can help me further, this is my last question.

Appearently theres a tax when somethings being shipped over the border.

I am not sure what. There is no VAT/Sales tax on books. Why not just order 1 book, and see?
