Deleting files

How do I delete a file that I don't want? I tried to delete a file in "My projects" but it won't allow me to do so even tho it has a delete button there. When I tried to delete it, it says "You may not delete a file from a project via My Files. " Please let me know what to do.

Once a file has been included in a project and the Publication Wizard completed you can no longer delete a file from Lulu's servers.
It can be deleted from a project but the file will stay for ever on the servers.

Well I uploaded a new file to the server so how do I get it to where the new file (the manuscript) is more current or is including in the book than the old one?

Do you mean that you want to replace an existing file with a new one?

If yes - then revise your project.
At the file upload stage delete any files showing in the list using the Red Cross button next to the file name.
The upload the new file - and then continue to make the print ready file.
