Re: Clever ways to promote your book

Tony,

Make sure to post a link to your book on Lulu as well. Otherwise, someone might think you were just spamming the forums. http://www.lulu.com/product/paperback/legend-of-horian-the-dycentian-blade/18727746?productTrackingC...
Also, make sure to post your work in the Author Spotlight for others to see.

Please post your question here

It is not helpful to post in a thread discussing a different topic to the one of your question.

Re: Clever ways to promote your book

Thanks for your idea, that might also be an interesting idea to use as a 'Hand Out', for when you are speaking about your Book - for example - on Events and things like that, recently (on my - Writer's Lifestyle - Blog), I actually created a special page for Upcomming Events, just to be able to put in a message saying:

'Currently Nothing Scheduled' :smileyhappy:

Possibly in the Future I will think of possible 'Book Signings' , or things like Public Speaking, for now I only already created a page for it, with only some info about Public Speaking and about getting Inspiration for doing Public Speaking.

Only - while I did actually sell a few of my tiny little ebooks online, and even did already receive some positive readers feedback from actual buyers by email - currently I haven't Scheduled any 'Events' yet, maybe when I get more buyers, or when I get Invitations for Radio & TV shows :smileyhappy:

[ Edited ]

Since no one else has mentioned it, http://flamingnet.com/ they review teen and youth books. Was told about it by a school librarian  while I had a short lived job doing IT support for that district. If you send them some copies of your book they send them to kids to have them reviewed.

That sight is only for youth/teen books butsince they except ebooks its can be free.

Also check out my book here :smileyvery-happy: http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/billdakat

Re: Clever ways to promote your book

A good idea on using Vista print to promote your book.  Else the best method I'd recommend is to create a blog around your book and place it into the blogosphere.
