Can I add B&W Photos to my B&W book?
I am writing a book, and I want to add a photo section. Can I just add my B&W photos to my PDF that I use to publish my book?

Absolutely you can. That's exactly the method I used to add b&w photos to my book.

Thank You Riaz Ali. So I just copy and paste them where I want them in the book! Brilliant, thank you so much.

Yes, copy and paste them. Just be mindful of the work that lies ahead, as I found out. Copying and pasting them looked fine at my end, but when I uploaded my book and then downloaded the Lulu proof copy, the picture formatting was all out.
It took a while experimenting with resizing them, messing about with the formatting options such as 'foreground', 'tight against text' etc until I got the results that I was happy with.

Thank you Riaz, I will keep all that in mind... Great help, thanks again.

For the record -- you can even insert color photos into the PDF for your B&W book, it's just that they will be printed in grayscale.
Notice that I used the word "insert", because you usually get better quality by inserting a picture from a file (like JPG or PNG) into a Word document rather than pasting it.
