Hello, I logged on today and discovered that my book, Living With The French, ISBN 978-1-4461-1298-4, had been altered into an eBook instead.
Please can you explain why this has happened?
I first noticed it was available as eBook, was confused as to why, and so tried to deactivate the eBook option. However the disable eBook option was not provided.
So I went to create a revision to try and adjust the settings that way but discovered not only is it locked in eBook format, but my name was locked and title was also locked - AND- that both my name and title were different to what I had set.
What the hell is going on here??
I have now got a stupid draft revision going for an eBook, with different names/titles when it should be a paperback.
Please restore my original published project .

This is illegal.
By removing my print edition altogether they are in breach of the copyright statment on my first page which prohibits the redistribution or modification of my book without my prior consent.
They have no right to remove my book from print.
I venomously oppose to this.

Do you mean this >>> http://www.lulu.com/product/paperback/living-with-
Seems like they have not removed it then.
And removing a book from Lulu is not a breach of copyright.
And did you search the forums about other mentions of this for answeres like I suggested?

Yes and I sent them a very sincere email.
Redistributing my material in any other form is a breach of copyright since there is a copyright statement on the first page which says so.
Anyway I see what has happened. They had created a second eBook version - this gave me the impression that the paperback version did not exist since I could not see it in my projects list unless I expanded the view.
I will just delete the eBook.

I think this post clearly illustrates the fact that Lulu is SELF-publishing.
Lulu is just a series of robots that pick up any old books you have lying around and tries to sell 'em. (For an agreed, shared profit.)
We must remember to sweep our shop floors! (And delete stuff we don't want those EVIL robots selling without our explicit permission - either that or read the T&Cs...)
