OK, I'm happy that promotions came back... and I'm happy that I tried a sample order of 15 books and got a 15% discount... but come on, as mentioned in my Suggestions post, I'm not looking for gimmicks and mysteries, I'm looking for consistent and reasonable pricing so that I can  offer same to my customers, and not be worried about depending on unpredicatable offers at the whim of Lulu.

Also, Lulu please note: I had to refresh and change numbers in my cart a few times before the claimed 15% discount took hold... at first it was offering me a $3-something "15% discount" on a $160 base price... very odd behaviour, do you have that system all sorted out?

The promotions that we run on Lulu do not affect the amount of creator revenue you receive per sale. In other words, when a customer purchases your book using a promotional code, Lulu absorbs the cost of the discount.

I apologize for any confusion caused by the cart discounts; it could be that you added items to your cart just as the promotion went live. We have automatic bulk discounts that appear in your cart when you add certain quantities of an item. The bulk discounts may have been confused with/replaced by the new promotion. If you notice any weird behavior the next time you add items to your cart, you might want to contact support to make sure you are seeing intended behavior -

Thanks Erin, but please see my post in Suggestions... I'm not talking about my cut for third party sales thru Lulu... I buy bulk and drop ship to a customer, it's the only way to give that customer a reasonable price...
