photos too big

I am making a calendar using digital photos of small paintings. I uploaded them and put them onto the calendar and the ! mark comes up saying they will be too blurry.  Also I am only getting a portion of the picture in the space where I want it...like the top half of the painting not the whole picture.  I assume my digital file is too big but dont know how to change that. Any suggestions

Use Photoshop or Irfanview to reduce or increase the size of image.

If it says they will be too blurry it can mean the DPI is far too low. Try 300dpi.

I have a bunch of paintings, all different sizes. I want to make a calendar. This may be a stupid question, but how do I format the size? And maintain the full painting? They are all 300dpi.

I don't know photoshop. What about in iphoto? I wish there ws a corner tool in your program....Also, a font tool so I could put in some quotes

You could try asking with a New Message all of your very own and in the right section ...
