How to download digital book purchase to iPad?

Hi, new here. Bought a digital book but cannot seem to download it on my iPad. Read the help page but it seems only applicable for mac or pc users. Thank you in advance and apologies if it's a silly question.

Yes, there is some confusion here.

It depends upon whether of not the publication has Digital Rights Protection (DRM).
If it has then it can only be read with the Adobe Digital Editions reader.

Before purchasing look at the top right corner of the product page.

If it states " Available in PDF Format" as here

the it is a PDF that can be read on a PC or iPad.

If it states "Available in EPUB for Adobe Digital Editions Format" as here
http://www.lulu.com/product/ebook/epubs-for-lulu-an-(idiots)-guide-to-creating-epubs/17287108
then you can't read it on your iPad.
In this case you have to buy it from the Apple iBookstore as a standard EPUB.

Hi thanks for the response. Really frustrated I did not see the right hand corner ePub note. Ugh. So that's rubbish as I have purchased a book I now have no acces to. But thanks for the information. Really appreciated.

I'll let the folks at Lulu know as you're not the first to get caught out.

They may be able to do something to make it clearer.

If the book is by a Lulu Forum member you can identify then you may be able to PM them and ask for a replacement copy.
