I ordered a proof copy of my book. I wasn’t happy with a page and decided to edit the file only and I ordered a new copy. However, the colour of the cover of the new copy is completely different and the quality is poor, despite the cover not being touched during editing.
As a buyer, I would not have been pleased with the cover of the new edited book – it was as if the printer was running out of ink and the colour had faded. Is it normal to receive such colour variation from lulu each time you order the same book?

It happens on occasion, but for the most part colouring is consistent.
Contact Support. They will likely replace the copy or give you credit. Their customer service is improving by the minute so you should get a speedy response.
