Question about bibliographies/reference lists.

Which bibliographic and in-text referencing styles are best for all possible publishing formats - including Kindle, acrobat etc. Anyone have any ideas?  I thought perhaps Harvard.   I am trying to avoid having to reformat my bibilography for paperback, kindle, Adobe etc etc.  (This all takes so much time.  Sigh.)

It doesn't really matter--just pick one and be consistent. You are dealing with readers around the world. They don't give two hoots about Harvard.
