I have published 10 books each time using sucessfully the old 2 piece cover and designing the cover myself. However for the eleventh I wanted to use the one piece advanced. I used the sizes given to me by Lulu and then converted the cover to a PDF file but every time I uploaded I was told my points were wrong. In the end I used the old two piece cover and uploaded the front and back. However the spine remained white. It was OK but I would have preferred the same colour spine. The book is A4 size. Where am I going wrong?

Hi Ken
I just finished my cover design and now I can't find where on this site to go to upload the file. I had it yesterday, but it is not anywhere I can find today. Can you help please?

Betty,
If you make your cover 432.0mm x 303.4mm or 5103px x 3583px it should be fine.
It should produce a PDF 17.01"x11.94"
I try to avoid making the cover in point sizes and always make mine in mm or px.
I hope this might help.
If not you could always me your draft cover.

Reply to the original question, there is a color selection for the spine. You click on it and it gives a color circle that you select from (OKAY! From which you select! Sheesh!).
