There have been a few interesting spinoffs from my Lulu novel, Velda http://www.lulu.com/shop/ron-miller/velda/paperbac
Two radio plays have been based on the character. These have been produced by the Shoestring Radio Theatre of San Francisco and broadcast coast-to-coast by 110 public radio stations. A third radio play will be broadcast later this Spring and a fourth will be out this coming Summer. You can listen to the first two plays here http://black-cat-studios.com/veldaradio.html
This coming June a full-length stage play will be produced by the Halifax County Little Theatre of Halifax, Virginia. Rehearsals are already under way!
Fun stuff and a swell way to promote the book!

Thanks, Ron. I will surely listen!

Did the radio station contact you and sign a contract with you to broadcast your play? Are the fees good?

We are in the presence of greatness.....
Coupla questions --
How do you sell the book, noting the price on front cover and lack of ISBN.....
Am I correct in thinking the lady on the cover seems to have forgotten to put on her knickers

The book was originally published commercially by Timberwolf Press. When it went out of print, I revived it on Lulu. Like all of my Lulu books, doing so was just for fun: I've made no effort to market any of them. I make the largest part of my living writing and illustrating traditionally published books (though one of my last big projects was an iPad app for Farrar, Straus & Giroux), so it behooves me to focus on those since I really haven't the time or energy to devote what it takes to promoting and marketing a self-published book. I only wish I did!
Since Velda is an ex-stripper that might answer your second question.
