I can honestly say that yesterday was probably the best day of my life, because I officially published one of my novels! I would love some feedback on my inspirational thriller, Smoke Before My Eyes. Here are the links for eBook and paperback ![]()

Well, right off the bat let me congratulate you on one of the most professional-looking covers I've seen around here in a very long time! Excellent!
In your interior formatting, I would suggest much deeper indents. Your pages look like unbroken columns of text with the very shallow indents you now have. I would also justify your text. And do you not have a copyright page?

Thank you for the compliment on the cover! I like to devote quite a bit of time on my covers because it's the first thing people see of a novel, and it sets the mood.
And that's a great idea about indenting. Looking back through it with your suggestion in mind, I can see where it would benefit from that. Sometimes those types of things are hard to spot while looking at a Word document, but on the preview it does look somewhat shallow. Thanks again!

Thank you for the advice! I will definitely look into the margins. I'd love to know what my book looks in my hands to see exactly what I can approve as far as margins go.
And as for Yvonne, I'm not quite sure what that has to do my post about my own book publishing... ![]()
