Just to show Im a team player, so to speak, I revised the book at the suggestion of complete strangers
. I made the font smaller at the suggestion of a few while making the book a POCKET BOOK for easy transport. I already made my own copy with the larger font.
I'm new to the Lulu forums, so forgive me if this is in the wrong spot! I'm in the process of writing a second volume to this book series at the moment. On a humorous note, I was wondering if I was being too hard on the fundamentalists until I discovered a book consisting of short stories featuring atheists burning in hell... Sufficed to say, my concerns are no longer an issue.

What font size did you use, looks very large with few words per line?
Text should be justified, looks amateurish with ragged right edges, as do the straight quotes (rather than 'curly') and the 'Written by' before the author's name on the title page makes it look like a school essay.
"In this book one will see simplistic chapters, in simple terms, defining..."
OK, I don't understand what that means - simplistic means over-simplified, so what over-simplified chapters in simple terms means I don't know -- but then I don't understand what a memeplex is.
But I don't think the promise of simplicity is kept, otherwise why use words like inelectable rather than avoidable?

Hello Screenwriter,
Congratulations on your book.
Though I am not an atheist, I find the lack of belief in a God fascinating. I really think you would draw a greater readership with a juicier cover. Entice!

Hi - good luck with your book. The font does seem very big, so I wonder if this is a reflection of a lack of thought on your behalf, or is this deliberate? How many pages would your book be if you used a normal sized font.
I say this as I too have written a popular science book covering perhaps the same topic from a very different perspective, i.e. looking at the relationship between spirituality, quantum physics and consciousness. You may want to rethink book 2 if you wish to be taken seriously, like your hero Dawkins.
But yeah, have fun and it will be interesting to read any reviews of your book that others may do.

Kevin,
You might want to buy the book to understand fully what the author means.
I am guessing screenwriter means that the word and concept of "good" is a derivative of "God."
God is the expression of, the embodiment of all that is good. But people will use and abuse any concept or feeling. How much harm has been done in the name of LOVE? Yet love is good. Same thing with God.

Greetings, you arent missing anything. I revised the book at the suggestion, if it can be called that, of one of the posters above.
Don't know what to tell you about your taking offense. I agree with you, it is very easy to be good without god, which is the point. I cant say much about the rest of your statement seing as how I am atheist.
