Hi.
We're having problems using the publishing wizard, not getting any useful help via the support ticket system, so any advice from anyone else would be much appreciated!
The problem: When we click on 'revise' against our project, we get the following error message:
"We encountered an unrecoverable error. If you are unable to complete the publishing process, please contact support."
We've contacted support (and have received two emails saying the issue has been resolved - which it hasn't).
Any advice would be much appreciated!
Also, if anyone knows how we can purchase the Globalreach distribution package, please let us know. We've assigned an ISBN to our project, but only Marketreach is on the distribution list for us to choose from (again, we've emailed support about this, but did not get any helpful advice back on what to do).
So again, any advice, please share!

Hmmmm, I'm having problems too, not with the same thing, but the uploader doesn't seem to work. Maybe it's a general site problem.......anybody else shed any light on these two struggling authors?

Your best bet is to upload a PDF for interior file, with embedded fonts, and a PDF or JPEG one-peice cover.
As for distribution, you can only get Global and Extended with certain book sizes. That is likely why the only option you are being offered is Marketreach.

Try stepping back to the beginning of the publsihing wizard.
If yor upload contains images - check they are 300dpi JPG (300dpi - no larger no smaller)
If you upload is not a PDF try making a PDF first,
Regarding distribution read the visual tutorial I posted in the last couple of days - do a search for it.

My book is PDF'd already - I have multiple files to upload, it has taken the first one which I did on Thursday but it just won't work now. Eeeeek

Chastity, try only one file. Upload, then go for a walk and come back. It will be in your MY FILES.

Hi Maggie,
Sorry to delay your dog run! I have uploaded 1 file already and that's all it will do. Just doesn't work at all now - the little upload bar moves and it looks as though it will process it, but the orange twirly bar doesn't start at all.

No, not if you upload via ftp. There is no twirly thing.
Use FTP. I have uploaded huge files.
Give it a try. If you get stuck, ask.
