Category Selection

Could it not be possible to select more than just one category for your book?  For example, I selected Sci-Fi Fantasy as the closest one but it's really also very much a thriller, very much about technology, and even about war.  So, it's unfortunate to have to limit to just one category.

Anyone else have this problem?

I so much agree. It should have Main types and as you select them it goes to futher sub-types until you get to one that describes your book type exactly, and that is the one you select. You should also be able to select at least 2 Main areas, but too many would simply tempt people to put their books in everything, which would really annoy people searching!

Yeah, I agree, you would have to have a "main" type and then be able to select one or two related subtypes from that.  For example, technology and thriller could easily relate to sci-fi but unlikely to have comedy, poetry, or children's book related.  So, there would have to be a type tree so to speak.  I just know my book is a "thriller" that delves into science fiction and technology in the process.
