  • Make your pictures 8.75 x 11.25 inches. Use the custom size option in Word to make your document 8.75 x 11.25 inches. Set the margins to zero all round. Insert your pictures into Word and then create your PDF at 8.75 x 11.25 inches. Upload your PDF to Lulu and your pictures will print to the edge of the page.

If you set your page size as Mr Blue suggested, it will allow pictures to print to the edge of the page.
  • Do ensure though, that you do not have any vital content within the outer 0.375 inches of any full page images; this applies to internal images as well as the cover. Although I manage to work within this, I do have to admit that it is rather a wide shift, at least potentially. Luckily, most of my stuff has had far less trimmed, but it can't be relied on as I have also had a cover shift across the full 0.375, and as it's an allowed shift / tolerance etc, I had no redress, as it is allowed.
