About the rights and other legal subjects
I'm planning on publishing my book using Lulu, but I was just wondering about the rights Lulu gets when I use its service and ISBN.
Will Lulu get rights to my story if I use their free ISBN?
My thanks to all of you!
Pop over to the FAQ - you'll find the answers there.
You retain all rights. You can unpublish any time, you can do one size here, another somewhere else. You are the publisher and owner of the book.

The ISBN is just a way of identifying the book and publisher for the benefit of bookstores and libraries, kind of like a serial or catalog number. It hasn't anything at all to do with copyright. You own that.

Lulu has the non-exclusive permission to print the book when a copy is sold, and from that sale must pay you a percentage as royalties. You have the right to remove that permission at will. You have all other rights.
