Decided to take ownership.

For the longest time I had a pseudoym. It was "Michael Owen Reeve" as author while I listed my real name as publisher and copyright owner. But I increasingly became self consious that there was a Michael Owen literally kicking around as a soccer star.
SO I decied to retire the pen-name.

Why not keep it and get some added exposure when people search for the soccer player online? Lots of people have the same name. I actually write some of my books under a different name made of one writer's first name and another's last name. Unless you actually feel guilty for some reason why not just keep it if you like it.

It's not the same name though. The middle name makes it different. People will search for the three name name and not the two name name when looking for the book will they not? That is if they know the book and its writer exists. If they do not, what can they search for?
There used to be bad habit of people meta-tagging their sites with often searched for keywords (britney spears ..
) that had nothing at all to do with the content of their sites. It raised the hit rate if nothing else, and the more hits a site gets the more it is worth. Such habits are very very frowned on and can even be illegal.
