Can someone please tell me how to add a preview to book. I didn't find a way to add it during the process.
Thanks very much.
It's at the end of the Wizard, or via your Project List > Revise, if you have completed the Wizard functions and missed it.
On the page that opens scroll down to the Preview tool.
Keep in mind that there is a bug (which Lulu knows about). My value paperback doesn't show a preview tab even though I have added a preview.
Sorry guys. I've taken through the entire process three times and still don't see anywhere to add a preview. Guess I'm not looking in the right place. Any additional info you can give will be appreciated.
Hello Michael 33
I see two draft projects on your project page.
You add the previews after you complete the publishing wizard.
To do this, click on the project title. You will see a Preview section listed where you can click the Edit button to create a preview. The process is different from print and eBooks.
The bug mentioned by another community member affects only print books (value line and customized hardcovers). I have been unsuccessful in my requests to more highly prioritize the Preview bug, despite my repeated tantrums and attempts to publicly shame the product manager. Instead, I am left with egg on my face as planned release dates come and go without a fix. I will not, however, let this keep me from continuing to fight the good fight.
so in order words a preview is not available for a print book?
You are replying to, so I have to assume you have read, a very old thread.
Yes there is a Preview Tool in the Wizard to generate a Preview, but not for ebooks.
